ch, cH, CH CHANGES
When you have a kid everyone tells you how fast the time flies and how much they change. How much you'll miss if you even blink an eye and then they are born. That first 6 weeks feels like the movement of glaciers - so slow that you can't believe you'll ever have a minute to do anything but change diapers, feed, clean feeding stuff, change clothes, burp, feed, bath and soothe. You think, "Those people were crazy! What were they talking about?"
Then all of a sudden your little one can hold up their head, smile, laugh, move their arms, sit, crawl and you feel like it's all happening so fast. Now we get it. Seems like Max changes almost every day. Just when you think you've got him figured out. Surprise!
For example, from 7 - 9 and 1/2 months we could barely get him to eat more than 20 ounces a day and usually it was more like 12. Last two weeks - 36 or more ounces a day. 12 ounces in one feeding when he wakes up. A far cry from the 15 - 20 ml that he ate the first 3 days we had him. I remember thinking he was eating so much when he got through 1/2 an ounce let alone 36 of the suckers.
We call this the "Baby Goat".
So full and happy, which you can really see if you click on the photo and blow it up.
Now he's pulling up and taking a few tentative cruising steps on the furniture and a few practice steps when we hold his hands. It is amazing.
Pulling up.
Standing
He loves to stand on our bed in the morning. He also loves to grab things from the top of our headboard. He thinks it's so funny.
Did I mention that he's making phone calls now, too.
He seems so big now!
Very academic, don't you think?
That's all for now. Hopefully, I'll get some more pictures up later this weekend.

SO TRUE! I couldn't agree with you more. It's amazing how quickly they grow and change and you are so right about the beginning dragging and leaving you totally caught off guard when all the sudden they are little people. I love the pic with Max in the glasses! Very studious!
